Aluminum has protection from external elements such as oxygen, humidity and light, which could damage and oxidize the coffee inside the Capsule.
The 80% of the aluminum that lines the Starbucks Capsules compatible with nespresso® machines comes from recycled aluminum in order to produce less energy than the production of capsules with virgin aluminum and is perfectly suited to a circular business model.
The aluminum used to produce the Nespresso® Compatible Starbucks capsules comes from various sources of production recovery and post-consumer waste.
